Our Community Commitment

Striving for a Culture of Contribution to Our Communities.

  • Pro Bono Services

Falling Colors believes in and is committed to the potential of data and technology to transform our world in positive ways. However, we’re also aware that the cost of securing data services and effective technology puts these remarkable tools out of reach of some of the organizations that need them most. We also recognize that many of our staff have valuable skills in various fields, and contribution of work in those areas can be a valuable step towards improving our communities.

As a result, Falling Colors has committed to devoting a substantive amount of our time – at least five percent – to delivering excellent data services that support those working towards positive change in the social determinants of health without charge. For each member of the Falling Colors team, this means that approximately 100 hours per year is devoted to delivering Pro Bono Services.

  • Charitable Giving

Falling Colors recognizes that sometimes the best way to support the valuable work of non-profit organizations is to support them directly through financial contributions. In addition, Falling Colors has established the Falling Colors Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation designed to support our communities through technology and education. While our direct annual funding has in the past varied, from around .5% to over 4%, we have committed going forward to an annual contribution to charitable organizations including the Falling Colors Foundation of 2% of annual revenue.

  • Paid Volunteer Time Off

Falling Colors also believes that volunteering is an important part of serving our communities. Giving back is an important means of improving our communities; service work is also documented to have significant positive impacts on individual well-being. Accordingly, for those activities that fall outside the scope of our Pro Bono Services, Falling Colors supports employees wishing to volunteer by matching up to 4 hours of volunteer time quarterly.

  • Living and Serving Local

Falling Colors is Headquartered in Santa Fe, New Mexico. As such, we are committed to having a positive influence on the social determinants of health in communities around New Mexico. We believe that appropriate and efficient delivery of behavioral healthcare services to communities around the State is one of the best steps we can take towards meeting that commitment.

  • Falling Colors aims to contribute to solving unique local challenges by supporting economic development, supporting delivery of behavioral healthcare, and gathering of actionable data in the area of social determinants of health, service availability and gaps, and related issues facing these communities.

    1. Falling Colors believes that communities are best served by those who understand and reside in those communities. Falling Colors requires that a local operations office be established in an appropriate location where we provide administrative services and that that office establish a community-based charitable giving program.

    2. Although Falling Colors is a distributed company with employees in states around the nation, we believe that employing people in our own local communities is a further important step towards supporting local economic development. Accordingly, Falling Colors requires that at least 50% of our employees will reside in the communities where we function as an administrator.

  • 3. At least 75% of our revenue will be generated by work performed in our local communities for entities whose primary goals include support for locally based programs impacting the social determinants of health.

    4. Falling Colors works to build and expand local networks of entities focused on making a positive impact on social determinants of health. This includes a wide range of entities such as local farmers and behavioral health providers.
